Homework in Year 2

We value your support and know that your input can make a huge difference to your child’s progress, even if it is only 10 minutes that you can spare! We would like to suggest the following as a minimum for work at home:

Reading with your child:

As a school the expectation across every year group is for the children to read a minimum of 5 times a week. Children's diaries will be monitored throughout the week. On Fridays, children who haven't managed to read 5 or more times are invited to 'Top up Reading' with a member of the Year 2 team.
