At Ledbury Primary School we have an amazing Forest School on site, with mature trees and wild areas, a mud kitchen, fire pit and pizza oven.

We begin to take the children out to Forest School in the Spring term. Here, they continue to use and refine the skills they have developed in the Prime Areas whilst in our outdoor classroom.

Forest School enables the children to explore and become curious about the natural world around them as well as using what they can find to devise games, cook in the mud kitchen and make treasure hunts for their friends.

We all come together around the fire pit to tell stories, sing songs or to simply be peaceful and listen to the sounds all around us.

Above all, it's a great time to be all together and for everyone to have a lot of fun!

Children should come to school on Forest School days in their own clothes.  Please ensure they have long sleeves and either trousers or leggings.  Children can wear trainers or wellies, please no Corcs or sandals.
