INTRODUCING TEAM LPS
TEAM LPS (the ‘PTA’) is, of course, all of us—parents, families, teachers and the wider community so we decided to choose a name which included the key elements of what we do…
T—teamwork (our families, school staff, the Ledbury community)
E—enthusiasm, for planning fun events, improving facilities and increasing opportunities for the children
A—acceptance, of different views, opinions and needs
M—motivation, to ‘make things happen’ (even when it’s not easy)
It’s a simple name; usually the best things are!

Last year we raised £14,000 through our fundraising events. This has enabled us to have a new library and convert our old ICT suite into a studio area for different activities.
We are currently raising funds for our outside library area in our courtyard. This area is a super space for pupils to read, but it needs a canopy and dry staging area for the children to stay dry when they are enjoying reading. This courtyard area is dedicated to our wonderful deputy headteacher, Mrs Jill Evans, who tragically died in a car accident in January 2019.
Thank you to everyone who has attended and supported our events. Last year we funded new sports and music equipment for our wonderful children and this year we are raising funds for playground equipment—and we couldn’t do it without you. Whether you have come along to events, donated funds, baked cakes, given raffle prizes or helped on stalls etc...it’s all appreciated and we’ve had more support from parents and families than ever before.
Activities this academic year include:
Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning
Pop Up Shop (twice!)
Puds and Plonk
Please don’t forget all our events are open to the whole Ledbury community. Please let your families and friends know of events and bring them too. We advertise all our events across Ledbury so please support us with helping us spread the word. The more successful our events, the more money we raise for kit not covered by the school budget—and the more fun we have!
