Hello,

The staff in Year 5 would like to take this opportunity to say hello and a big welcome to the year group. We have lots of exciting things planned for the year and hope your children will share these experiences with you on a regular basis.

The Year 5 Team:

Our topic focus in year 5 is Water:
Autumn: The past - Ancient civilisations (main focus - History)
Spring:  The present - Water, water everywhere (main focus - Geography)
Summer: The future - Journey into Space (main focus - Science)

 Weekly routines:

• P.E. will be on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, please come to school in full P.E. kit including- a t-shirt, shorts and trainers (for outside).  During the winter months pupils may wish to wear a tracksuit for outdoor sports.
• Our spellings test will be every Thursday
• Times Tables Check will be once a week
