Homework

Spellings and Times Tables

 

You will receive a sheet outlining the spellings and times tables to cover each week. We will have a times table quiz every Wednesday afternoon and a spelling quiz every Thursday morning to monitor your child's progress.

 

Reading

 

Reading books and reading records should be taken home and be brought back to school every day. Please help us to learn about your child's progress by writing in the reading records and signing to confirm when your child has read at home. Children are expected to read at home at least three times a week and reading records will be collected every Friday morning to monitor this. We will allow children to change their stage books as and when they need to. Children will also be allowed to bring library books of their choice home to share as well.
