Timestables
Times tables will continue to be a big focus this year. Accurate and fluent times tables knowledge is a tremendous advantage when both calculating and reasoning. Because of this the school has invested in 'TT Rockstars' which the children can access at home, as well as at school.
We will be doing lots of practise and the children will regularly have an opportunity to show which tables they have become masters in. We will be using a variety of methods to help the children learn their tables and there are lots of apps, other than 'TT Rockstars' that can be used to help the children with quick recall. Regular practise at home is invaluable.
