Welcome to Year 1!

Mrs. Perry and Mr. Banks teach in Year 1 with Mrs. Dean and Miss Smith.
 

Our topic this year is...…..       Up in the Air

Science sessions will be held every Friday morning.

PE will be on Wednesday and children can wear their PE kits all day.

Forest School takes place every Monday afternoon in the autumn and summer terms. Children can wear their own clothes all day and bring wellies and a coat.

Homework for Year 1 takes the form of regular reading at home, learning spelling lists ready for the spelling quiz each Friday and counting. 

Reading is encouraged every night. Please help us to learn about your children's progress by recording online with Boom Reader. At the moment we change the reading books every Friday.
