Science is the focus this term and our overarching question, ‘Does the world need ice?’ will be our vehicle for learning. We will begin the term by sharing a new class read, a book called ‘Pugs of the Frozen North’ by Phillip Reeve and Sarah Mcintyre. We will explore key figures such as Matthew Henson and his extraordinary story of reaching the North Pole and discover many facts about our polar landscapes.
